Description
Air Atomizing Nozzles deliver an unique internal design that makes it possible for the liquid and air to mix internally producing a fine or coarse drops atomized spray.
Basically, obtaining fine atomization is done by increasing the air pressure or lowering the liquid pressure, resulting in a high ratio of air flow rate to liquid flow rate.
In the vast majority of industrial processes, air atomizing Nozzles are being used, where compressed air supplies the required energy for atomizing the liquid.
Pressure spray: through the liquid pressure will supply nozzle, liquid and gas compressed air in internal mixing, resulting in a fully atomized spray.
Application:
- Atomization of viscous liquids
- Cooling
- Dust Suppression
- Coating
- Gas cooling
- Humidification of air
- Humidification of goods
- Lubrication
- Web dampening
External Mixture Flat Fan Air Atomizing Spray Nozzle
The air and liquid streams exit the nozzle independently and are combined and mixed outside of the nozzles. Because there is no connection between the air and liquid lines within the nozzles, the air and liquid flow rates can be controlled independently, allowing precise metering of the liquid. The atomization can be controlled by adjusting the air flow rate more air produces finer atomization. In most cases these set-up do not atomize as finely as Internal Mix Setups. External Mix Set-up may be used with liquid having a viscosity.
Atomizing nozzles for viscous fluids and for applications that benefit from increased spray nozzle control. i.e control of pattern and droplet size independent of shape air or atomizing air and control air. Externally atomized with built-in pneumatic control valve.
